The Moulton TSR bicycle, with its outstanding efficiency, speed, comfort and responsiveness, is now available fully integrated with the unique ARCC Bikes Intelligent Drive System (IDS).
First produced in 1962 by the renowned British engineer Dr Alex Moulton CBE, the Moulton concept was to improve ride comfort and efficiency through the use of small wheels with high-pressure tyres, supported by an ultra-rigid frame and a pioneering rubber cone suspension system, famously fitted to the Austin and Morris Mini.
The TSR is the modern successor to the original APB and features the iconic Moulton Hairpin Spaceframe, hand-brazed at the Hall estate in Bradford-on-Avon from Columbus Spirit and Reynolds 525 chromoly steel tubing. The frame is easily separable without the use off tools via the stainless steel ARCC Moulton Kingpin Hand Knob, making transport and storage simple.
True to the original, the TSR features the renowned Monosphere rear suspension paired with adjustable Leading Link (unicrown) front suspension, delivering exceptional comfort, efficiency, and control across a wide range of terrain.
The IDS uses premium-quality materials and specially selected parts throughout to deliver a perfect fit, finish, and long-term reliability. Components such as the IDS Pod and Remote Controller are machined from individual billets of aerospace-grade aluminium providing lightness and durability, before being anodised and laser engraved for weatherproofing, finish quality and corrosion resistance.
This bike comes with a 4.0 Ah 36V Bosch Professional Battery, that gives a typical range of up to 30km, recharging in just 35mins, perfect for your daily commutes. A 6.0 Ah battery option is also available at an additional cost, which enables an increased range of up to 50km.
