ARCC Converted Brompton P-Line – AP4
The AP4 weighs only 13.6kg, 2kg lighter than the electric P-Line from the Brompton factory.
It uses standard Bosch professional power tool batteries making it simple to expand range, replace or upgrade.
Lighter than Brompton’s “Lightest electric bike”
As well as providing smoother and more progressive power delivery for confidence inspiring, wobble-free electronic assistance, our Intelligent Drive System fitted to the Full P-Line enables us to offer a “2kg lighter” P-Line than the Brompton factory e-assisted version.
This lighter P-line is perfect to navigate your daily commute and leisure trails.
It can be fully folded with the battery still attached and can be optionally used with most Brompton bags.

A True Electric P-Line
Our AP4 starts life as an original Brompton P-Line, that has both its titanium rear triangle and front titanium forks fully intact. Our system accommodates the true, original design of the P-Line, which helps us achieve a lighter weight bike than can be bought direct from the Brompton factory.
We carefully convert it to an e-bike at our Cambridge factory; adding a motor to the front wheel, a bottom-bracket torque and cadence sensor, our Intelligent Drive System, and a standard Bosch professional power tool battery, collectively weighing 3.9kg, which is 1.3kg lighter than the Brompton system, resulting in a total weight reduction on a true P-Line of 2kg!
Each bike is inspected and tested before it leaves our factory and we are happy to offer a 5 year warranty on both the drive system we add, and the original bike itself.
You save significantly more weight switching to the ARCC system than you do with Brompton’s own P-Line e-assist bike, which is weighed down by the steel forks and heavier drive system they use.
