An Ultra-Lightweight option for the C-Line range, the AC2 weighs only 15.1kg – making it half a kilogram lighter, and £400 cheaper than Brompton’s electric P-Line, an astonishing feat for the AC2. The system uses standard Bosch professional power tool batteries making it simple to expand range, replace or upgrade.
In a League of its Own
As well as providing smoother and more progressive power delivery for confidence inspiring, wobble-free electronic assistance, our Intelligent Drive System fitted to the C-Line enables us to offer an even lighter bike than Brompton’s own electric P-Line. The AC2 is perfect for work commutes and inner-city travel.
It can be fully folded with the battery still attached and can be optionally used with most Brompton bags.

We carefully convert it to an e-bike at our Cambridge factory; adding a motor to the front wheel, a bottom-bracket torque and cadence sensor, our Intelligent Drive System and a standard Bosch professional power tool battery, collectively weighing 3.9kg, which is half a kilogram lighter than even the electric P-Line from the Brompton factory.
Each bike is inspected and tested before it leaves our factory and we are happy to offer a 5 year warranty on both the drive system we have added, and the original bike itself.
Our AC2 is an engineering accomplishment like no other – creating a C-Line that is significantly lighter than the “lightest e-bike” from the Brompton factory.
