ARCC® was established in 2012 by a team of specialists driven by a passion for British design and manufacturing. Our state-of-the-art facilities, all conveniently located under one roof, facilitate the creation of high-end luxury innovations. With our office seamlessly connected to the workshop, we maintain close proximity to developments at all times.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create the most sophisticated electric bike conversion system on the market, specifically designed for iconic British bikes such as the Moulton TSR and Brompton.

Who we are

ARCC Innovations is a British-owned company located within our state-of-the-art research and development center in Cambridge. We have a team of specialists who work diligently, designing and manufacturing to the highest standards, from the initial design concept to the final product.

Our expertise lies in our bespoke lightweight British electric system, seamlessly integrated for conversions or onto our own designed and manufactured bikes. Each member of the ARCC team possesses a unique set of skills that enables us to craft our designs with precision. Equipped with the latest technologies including 3D printers, CNC machines, and hand welding techniques, we bring our innovative designs to life, ensuring precision and attention to detail throughout our entire design and manufacturing process. We offer a diverse range of services and products, spanning from electric conversions that can be fully customised, to our meticulously hand-crafted town bikes, available in both electric and non-electric models. With expertise in Brompton and Moulton electric conversions, many of our clientele are drawn to these options, whether opting for brand new electric conversions or transforming their current bikes. We adhere to rigorous quality control processes throughout the entire manufacturing journey, meticulously testing and inspecting each component to ensure optimal functionality. Prior to delivery, all completed bikes undergo a comprehensive pre-delivery inspection, examining every aspect, including electronics and functionalities.

“Last year I purchased an Electric Brompton bike. I love riding the bike and the electric system has allowed me to explore and ride over a thousand miles; but, as any owner will tell you, the battery mount system is very noisy over uneven ground. While this is OK for short journeys I usually ride longer routes, usually 20-40 miles, and found the constant rattling and clunking very aggravating. The only advantage was that it was so loud I didn’t need my bell while riding on cycle routes and towpaths! I approached ARCC having seen excellent reviews of their system and asked if they would be willing to swop out the Brompton system and replace it with their own. After discussions with their engineer, they said yes, and I booked the bike in. The service was excellent and prompt and the newly fitted bike arrived just before Xmas. I have ridden 100 miles and not a clunk, rattle or squeak heard. The performance is as good, if not better than the Brompton system, and has a Bluetooth system to control the power settings. Unlike the Brompton, which only lets you use an app on your phone. While I appreciate this is an expensive solution, it had got to the point I was taking the battery off the bike to ride in peace. This has put a big grin back on my face while riding my Brompton and I’m looking forward to exploring further with it in the future.”

We actively participate in sponsoring and supporting local events for our community in Abington. As part of our commitment, we sponsor the annual Abington Running Festival, which raises funds for the local Great Abington Primary School.
